Her days are not in danger but the little girl had to be evacuated by helicopter to the Bordeaux University Hospital after a start of drowning at Lac de Carcans Maubuisson, in Gironde on May 8 in the early afternoon.

The firefighters intervened around 2:30 p.m. on Lake Carcans-Maubuisson, the Medoc family seaside resort in Gironde.
According to firefighters, the 3-year-old girl must have been wading in little water when the parents took her out in time. But she was experiencing “the beginnings of drowning”. This is why she was evacuated by Dragon 33, to the pediatric emergencies of the Bordeaux hospital center, to be taken care of.

An event that marks this first real beach day of the season for a good number of people from Aquitaine who came, like this family, to enjoy it. But which reminds everyone to be vigilant by the sea, swimming pool or a body of water.
