Starlink to limit data usage above 1 TB in the US and Canada – IT Pro – News

Well, I find it very easy. If you say that with your personal use it already exceeds 500GB, why shouldn’t anyone else exceed 1TB with fairly normal use?

And yes, this is even with peak and off-peak hours, but if the story was that 10TB was enough because you didn’t get more than 500GB, that was one thing, but with completely normal use you are less than a factor of 2.

Edit: I checked my router myself – last month I used 270GB alone. With partial work from home, some times Netflix (not a lot) and regular TV doesn’t go through the router. Also, some games regularly don’t have movies or the like from less legal places. Often YouTube for background music, which will transfer some unnecessary data (since the image doesn’t have to be 1080p from me).
