Starlink sued for Internet access even where it is not normally possible, but so far the service has not been available in Poland. It is changing now.
Starlink is closer than ever to becoming a global ISP. President of the Macquarie Group conference in June SpaceXGwynne Shotwell said the company has already launched some 1,800 satellites into space. When they reach their operational orbit, which is expected by September, Starlink will be able to offer continuous worldwide coverage. As you can see, everything is going according to plan, because the company has announced its entry into other areas, including Poland.
Starlink finally made it to Poland. Initially, the data transmission speed will range from 50 Mb / s to 150 Mb / s, but these values will increase with the development of the service.
Starlink has just announced that the service is now available in Poland, albeit to a limited extent. “Users can expect data rates to fluctuate from 50Mbps to 150Mbps over the next few months as we improve the Starlink system. There will also be short periods of outage. As we launch more satellites, we’ll install more stations.” terrestrial and we will improve our network software, data transmission speed, latency and uptime will be significantly improved, “the news reads.
If you are interested in the service, just place an order on the Starlink website. “If Starlink isn’t available in your area yet, you can make a deposit to keep your place in the queue.” Starlink launched public tests of its service some time ago, which attracted over 10,000 subscribers in 11 countries. Users have provided extensive data on the quality of satellite internet, overall being quite impressed with the performance. The download usually fluctuates around 200 Mb / s and the upload speed often exceeds 30 Mb / s.
