Starfield: Cross-Platform Gameplay Analysis and Comparisons on Xbox and PC Series X|S

Starting today, Starfield will be playable on Xbox and PC Series X|S. Many video game fans were wondering how the latest space adventure would look and work on the youngest Xbox.

According to official information, Starfield could have appeared on the market last year, but Bethesda received additional time to finalize the game. Representatives from the Xbox Advanced Technology Group also assisted in the development of the game.

We already reported on Digital Foundry’s analysis yesterday, but it’s worth taking a look at Starfield’s cross-platform direct comparisons as well – the game looks best on PC, which should come as no surprise, and the Xbox S-series version also performed well.

Judging by the frames, Starfield looks good on all platforms, and although you should expect some restrictions when playing on a lower console, the end result looks quite satisfactory. A similar situation with the smoothness of animation. On PC we can expect a better experience, but on Microsoft devices the game works really well.
