Starfield: Bethesda’s Least Popular Game on Steam, But Could DLSS Support and HDR Settings Change That?

Starfield is currently Bethesda’s least popular game on Steam, with Todd Howard’s new game receiving just 72.18% positive reviews on Valve’s platform two weeks after launch.

A comparison with previous Bethesda Game Studios products shows a big difference: Fallout 4 has 81.87% positive reviews on Steam, and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has 93.88%. Less brilliant is Fallout 3 with 78.52%.

Despite receiving stellar reviews from the international press, Starfield has apparently fallen victim to an unoptimized PC version that is too performance-intensive and has too many flaws, but that may be about to change.

Bethesda has announced the imminent availability of official DLSS support for Starfield, as well as all those options that users have been dreaming about, most notably HDR settings.

Who knows, maybe after the update the situation will change, and many players will change their minds, leaving a positive review of Starfield on Steam and thereby increasing its average rating.
