While overall Bethesda’s latest sci-fi RPG is very convincing, there are minor shortcomings on the technical side, but luckily the modders have already sprung into action.
Roughly five years ago, Bethesda Game Studios announced that it would step out of the comfort zone of The Elder Scrolls and Fallout universes and build its own sci-fi world in Starfield, which would be bigger than any role-playing game in the studio’s career so far.
Starfield will finally be released in the next few days, many people are already playing it, and while for now it seems that Bethesda has mostly successfully kept its promises and really raised the bar, there are still a few things that could be improved.
Technical aspects have always proved to be a pivotal point in Bethesda’s games, whether it’s the company’s engine technology or the funny bugs, and while progress has been made in the latter respect, the situation is still not entirely clear: many people miss the more detailed graphics options of the PC version , such as. DLSS support or FOV slider.
Of course, as is usually the case, the modders have already sprung into action and fixed both problems in record time: several users have already solved the DLSS supportwhile a fan made a quick turn a Field of View setting option also in the game, you can download them all from the Nexus Mods page.
