When to watch starfall:
It is expected that after 3 am, over a hundred bright meteors will fly across the sky in just an hour. You don’t need a telescope for observation. However, those who have cloudy weather outside the window will not be lucky.
Also, in order to enjoy the starfall, it is advisable to leave 30-40 kilometers from the city.

What is Geminids Starfall:
This is one of the most powerful meteor showers. In 2011 alone, a burst of about 200 meteors per hour was recorded. You can also sometimes see fireballs – large fiery bright meteors that look like huge balls of fire.
The stream was discovered at the end of the 19th century. Meteors fly at a speed of about 35 km / s.
Do you need a reason to look up? The Geminids are on the rise!
It’s almost time for one of the year’s biggest and brightest meteor showers. The Geminids are expected to peak the night of Dec. 13-14: you may see as many as 30-40 meteors an hour after the Moon sets! pic.twitter.com/p4QNmHk4I2– NASA Exoplanets (@NASAExoplanets) December 12, 2021
