MEDIA ASSESSMENT Saturday night was clearly divided in terms of programming. From 19:00, men had the opportunity to watch the exciting duel between Sparta and Baník, the expected match of the 14th round of the Chance League, while women and children could calmly wait for 20:15 until the fourth see a portion of the game. StarDance Show…when the stars dance.

The editors of PrahaIN.cz were on edge. So the above-average second half of football was replaced by decent grooming, changed hairstyles and dresses, a refined movement technique and the casual humor of Mark Eben.

Before we get to the actual “spiritual” event, let’s remember the progress so far. The first part was a beginning and it was mainly about introducing the form to those who would not happen to know. The second sequel was already going very hard, the singer Ondřej Ruml let out together with the dancer Andrea Třeštiková. The long-time participant of the competition A familiar voice in your face did not separate, it did not shine, but it did not spoil either. We wrote that it did not arouse emotions, the sure spark of the audience’s desire.

The third evening became Jiří Ježek’s farewell. The disabled professional cyclist and six-time Paralympic champion always looked very pleasant and nice. He moved slowly like Frank Sinatra and was very open about his condition. Nevertheless, he did not find a way into the hearts of the audience, which was discussed mainly on social networks. Many expected the dismissal of the actor Filip Blažek, whose dance performance belongs more to the category of non-artists. However, it turned out the other way around. And it was only proven that the kumšt has a special charisma and that the nostalgia of the fans replaces the worn steps.

So the first weekend of November belonged to waltz, quickstep and paso doble. Oskar Hes, Marta Dancingerová, Ta Thuy Dung, Patrik Hartl, Filip Blažek, Lucie Vondráčková, Jana Paulová and the wrestler Martina Ptáčková stayed.

Regarding the jury evaluation, Jana Paulová alias Vilma Nováková from Kameňákov and Robin Ondráček (24/30) won the first night, Oskar Hes and Kateřina Bartuněk Hrstková (25/30) hanging imaginary gold around their sweaty necks the second and third night. The dismissed Jiří Ježek scored 23, 22 and 20 points. That’s just a side note.

Hartl’s oral pirouette

On the often named dance floor, more and more perfect performances appear week after week. It was confirmed by (delete) Ta Thuy Dung with great singing support (Je suis malade / I like it so much), it was confirmed by Patrik Hartl, Lucie Vondráčková and Marta Dancingerová.

In addition, the visual aspect is greatly improved. The whole night was like one spectacular show at the theater. The choreo was simply amazing, if we want to use football terminology.

The camera was also perfect, obviously familiar with both the couple’s dance and movement tricks. It is these details that give the exhibition an even more original stamp. Marek Eben, as we wrote above, made an impact again. Let it be the first consideration that Saturday’s All Souls Day will end in Stardance, where another couple will be buried, so to speak, or a special conversation with the writer Patrik Hartl.

But in this case it wasn’t a conversation like a monologue. As always, Hartl kept his word and didn’t let anyone get ahead of him. He does it unconsciously, but regularly. He dismissed the jury and the presenter with the assessment that Marek Eben is really such a cheerful donut. Then there was general laughter, after which Eben, not knowing how to proceed, left the floor to the jury. Where Richard Genzer took it for a change to end the situation beautifully: “No one has ever insulted Mark Eben so politely!”

We really can’t remember a moderator being as surprised in recent years, that’s for sure.

Of the other performances, we have to highlight Oskar Hes in particular.

Filip Blažek did not disappoint either. His effort is visible, but it is tight.

The jury was held again by Tatiana Drexler, whose assessment is honest, if consistently harsh. Richard Genzer is more of a comical addition and Jan Tománek is non-green without salt.
