In the 5th episode of the new animated series Star Wars: The Bad Batch Hunter & Co. are looking for information. In doing so, they meet one former Jedi informantwho gives them an assignment. If you can complete this successfully, you will receive in return useful details. However, the mission turns out to be more difficult than initially assumed, although also a rancor plays an important role.
Star Wars: The Bad Batch – Rancor belongs to an old friend
Everything actually starts relatively normally, after all it looks more or less like a routine operation. The informant Cid hires clone unit 99 as a mercenary and makes them an offer: They should save a child named Muchi and deliver it safely to her. If they succeed, they will receive information about the bounty hunter who is after Omega as a reward.
They manage to quickly find the whereabouts of their target person. You see They see a young girl, that together with her father and another man from slave traders is being held. Just as they want to approach them, however, the “The Bad Batch” heroes are surprised by the pet of the leader of the group and captured himself. After Omega was able to free her a little later, they make a surprising discovery, because the girl’s name is not Muchi, it is a baby rancorstirring up the guards.

After a hard fight they manage to finish off the slave traders and Then deliver Muchi to Cid. As it turns out, she got the job of rescuing little Rancor from none other than him Crime Lord Jabba den Hutten. It is possible that Muchi is the rancor that Luke Skywalker faced in Jabba’s palace in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.
As promised, Cid then reveals to our protagonists who is targeting Omega. This is a young bounty hunter named Fennec Shand. However, it is unknown who put the warrior on the girl.
