EA Motive, the studio behind the recently released video game Star Wars Squadrons, has some nice news: as a thank you for all the positive reactions they have received since launch, the developer will be releasing a surprise update for all players soon!
On November 25th (that’s next week) a new map called Fostar Haven will be added to the game’s multiplayer mode. The map will be playable in both Battle Fleet and Dog Fight mode. Four new components for starfighters are also added, including a Boost Extension Kit that will give your starfighter a hefty boost boost and Ion Rockets, which can be very useful for breaking shields.
Two new starfighters will then be launched in December. The Empire will get a new TIE Defender (type: fighter), while the New Republic may add the B-wing (type: bomber) to their space fleet.
In addition, it will also be possible from December to custom matches to organise. These are custom matches in which two teams of up to five players can compete against each other. Players can set up their own private matches this way or participate in public matches of other players.
Star Wars Squadrons is nu beschikbaar op PlayStation 4, Xbox One en pc. May the force be with you!
