“Star Wars” is a world that has been continually expanded in recent times. In addition to series and spin-offs, including Yoda, there is also an animated series based on the science fiction universe. A brand new season is now available to stream, one year after the first episodes were released.
Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi
Every Jedi starts small. But how did the knights learn their craft? “Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi” shows this in detail. None other than Master Yoda trains the young Jedi, among whom are Kai Brightstar, Lys Solai and Nubs. The aspiring Jedi knights have to learn all kinds of lessons, such as helping citizens in need, discovering new creatures and successfully completing their missions. They always have the big goal in mind: exploring the galaxy and researching the ways of the Force.
It’s no wonder that the young Jedi Knights have a lot of adventures in store for them during this time. While Master Yoda is there to help them with theory and advice, pilot Nash Durango and the little droid RJ-83 accompany the young Jedi on their missions through the galaxy.
Animation series goes into second round
As an animated series, the world of “Star Wars” unfolds in a whole new dimension. As the title suggests, “Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi” is aimed primarily at a younger audience. But the missions of the young knights are also suitable for die-hard Star Wars fans. The series also fits into the Star Wars universe: It is set 200 years before the events of “Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace”, i.e. in the time of the High Republic.
The series as such was first announced in 2022 before being released in 2023. The first season was divided into 19 episodes, which were also supported by six short films. While the first season was exclusively on Disney+, the short films were available to watch on YouTube. Now, a year later, the second season of “Star Wars: The Adventures of the Young Jedi” follows, which is also available to stream on the Mickey Mouse house’s streaming service.
