Nowadays we see more often that classic games get a (small) facelift and start a new life on the modern platforms. Aspyr Media is one of the studios that specializes in porting such classics and it is quite possible that Star Wars: Rogue Squadron will be one of their next projects.
Op Twitter the studio was asked about a possible transfer from Rogue Squadron, which launched in 1998 for the PC and Nintendo 64. The studio’s answer was short, but clear. At Aspyr they are huge fans of Star Wars and they would like to provide Rogue Squadron with a port. If there is enough demand for it, Aspyr is more than happy to get started.
