Concept art for the Obi-Wan Kenobi television series gives a first look at Darth Vader’s throne room in his tower on the planet Mustafar.
On the planet Mustafar, Darth Vader was more or less born in the iconic form we know from the first Star Warsmovies. Before that, he looked like Anakin Skywalker, but on Mustafar he mostly burned and barely survived the fight against his former teacher and ally Obi-Wan Kenobi.
Back to Mustafar
The Obi-Wan series not only includes the return of that well-known Jedi hero, but also the return of the evil Darth Vader.
Although Disney has not yet announced when the series will be shown, new concept art that has been released is building on the hype surrounding the project.
So today released a first look at Darth Vader’s throne room, in a tower that is said to have been built by the ghost of the ancient Sith Lord Darth Momin. The design was a way of channeling the dark side of the Force.
The windows behind Vader’s throne show Mustafar’s volcanic gases. According to the series Star Wars Rebels Jedi captured by the Inquisitors were taken to Mustafar, where they were executed.
