Star Wars: producer of The Acolyte sues Lucasfilm | tomatoes

Lucasfilm, the company created by George Lucas (THX 1138 – 88%, Summer Madness – 96%, Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope – 93%), and responsible for the franchises of Star Wars e Indiana Joneshas been sued by the producer Karyn McCarthywhich was fired from the series The Acolyte a few weeks after starting work. Now the plaintiff seeks Lucasfilm to answer for the breach of contract and be paid, in addition to including her name in the credits of The Acolyte as executive producer. Variety asked Lucasfilm for a response, but they had no comment on it. The series is expected to The Acolyte arrives on Disney Plus at the end of 2023, and has in its cast Dafne Keen, Lee Jung-jae, Amandla Stenberg, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jodie Turner-Smith, among others.
