Last month, at their annual Forward presentation, Ubisoft and Lucasfilm Games announced Star Wars: Outlaws, a story-driven open world adventure game set in the Star Wars universe.
During the San Diego Comic Con, Ubisoft held a Star Wars: Outlaws panel where more information about the game was shared and a behind the scenes video was released. Several developers tell more about the vision of the game. This is an original story that takes place between the films Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. This is when the war between The Sith and The Empire is at its hottest. This allows Outlaws to benefit and you are one of those outlaws named Kay Vess. Together with your companion Nix, you must embark on an epic adventure to commit the greatest heist in the galaxy. During your adventure you will encounter brand new characters as well as some familiar faces including Mos Eisley and Cantina.
This game is being developed by Ubisoft Massive, the studio most recently responsible for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2. Star Wars Outlaws is scheduled to launch in the year 2024 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X.
