If there’s one annoying thing about Star Wars stories, it’s that some of them can try to convince you they’re going to save the galaxy, but have little real impact on the wider story. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is a great example of this, showing us a really cool character who gets killed off just because they don’t exist in the canon.
However, Star Wars Outlaws hopes to avoid this problem by tying the game’s narrative to any connection to the fate of the wider galaxy.Navid Khavari, Director of NarrativeGameInformerinterview said: “Kay’s dream is to get a score that will allow her to live free and find her place in the galaxy. This is especially true after a heist goes wrong and she accidentally becomes one of the most wanted men in the galaxy. Out of necessity, she Step into the underworld and work in a crime syndicate with the aim of pulling off one of the biggest heists the galaxy has ever seen.
Like most people in the galaxy during this time, she will[帝國]Seen as an oppressive force throughout the galaxy. But they’re really just obstacles to her journey through the underworld.
That doesn’t mean we won’t have some big bets, just that we’ll be moving away from the typical melodrama in many Star Wars stories between the Sith and the Jedi. That means Empire will almost certainly take a backseat this time around.
