Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Patch 7 brings DLSS 3 + FG
The first reviews of the Star Wars Jedi: Survivor tech checks can now truly be described as catastrophic. The worst bugs were only eliminated with patch 4, but there were always further improvements up to patch 6. Patch 7 has now been released, which after FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR) finally brings Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS).
The current DLSS 3 with frame generation is supported. This benefits the game especially when you are in the CPU limit and this is where Star Wars Jedi: Survivor had its problems. In terms of graphics quality, DLSS 3 should also have advantages over FSR 2.1.
All major changes noted in the changelogs:
Performance mode has been completely reworked to substantially improve player experience.A number of GPU and CPU optimizations – along with disabling Ray Tracing – has resulted in a better player experience, including a solid 60 FPS in Performance mode.Quality Mode has also received optimizations to help reduce FPS fluctuation and introduce other visual improvements.Variable Refresh Rate support added for PS5.Additional performance & optimization improvements for PC, including DLSS support.Save system tweaks to help prevent save game corruption.Fixed issues where players could not retrieve their XP after dying under certain circumstances.Various crash fixes.Various bug fixes & improvements across all platforms, including fixes for cloth, lighting, and UI.
The update is 3.6 GB in size on Steam. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S are also supplied with the patch.
