Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Out March 17, 2023 – Games – News

EA will release Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on March 17 next year. The game will then appear on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC. The publisher also shows a new trailer with new characters and locations. The game is a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, players take on the role of Cal Kestis, who is no longer a Padawan, but a Jedi Knight. This gives Kestis extra Force powers, which are featured in the trailer. For instance, the player can slow down time, pull enemies towards him, and use his gun. In previously leaked promotional material, Kestis can be seen with a blaster in a holster. That gun doesn’t appear in the trailer yet.

The trailer also shows that players can move around the world in new ways, such as riding animals. Kestis can also use the laser sword fight. For example, in the first game, the player could only use two separate lightsabers in certain attack combinations, but in the trailer Kestis walks freely with two separate lightsabers. Lightsabers can also be customized in more ways than the original.

EA also claims that in Jedi: Survivor, players will get new planets and enemies, and the locations will be bigger than in the first game. Furthermore, according to the publisher, there is more to discover on those planets, even outside of the missions. As with the first game, Respawn Entertainment is responsible for the development of Jedi: Survivor. Jedi: Fallen Order was released in 2019. Tweakers wrote a review about it at the moment.
