Quantic Dream will have the game during The Game Awards 2021 Star Wars Eclipse announced. The game would be early in development, so a quick release is not in the cards. In fact, according to insider Tom Henderson, the game won’t be released until 2026 or 2027.
Henderson previously announced that it is certainly three to four years was supposed to be before the game came out, but it turns out it’s taking even longer now. on Twitter he shared that we can only expect the game later. The even longer wait is said to be due to development issues.

Little known about Star Wars Eclipse
Little is known about the gameplay or plot of Star Wars Eclipse. We do know that the game will be set during the High Republic, an era about 200 years before the Skywalker Saga. Furthermore, there are rumors indicating that Quantic Dream will combine its traditional approach to branching stories with action gameplay depending on your choices.
The Star Wars Eclipse trailer hinted at the appearance of the Trade Federation (from the Star Wars prequels) and the Jedi Master Yoda. Fans are also speculating that Darth Plagueis, Palpatine’s tutor, will also have a role in the game.
