The project is being developed by the authors of Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human from the French studio Quantic Dream
Already well-established insider Tom Henderson claims that the release of Star Wars Eclipse will take place no earlier than 2026. This was allegedly whispered to him by reliable sources, who announced the takeover of Quantic Dream by the Chinese technology giant Netease six months before the official press release.
It is stated that if Quantic Dream cannot recruit staff to work on the game, then its release will be pushed back to a later date.
Quantic Dream has had some difficulty hiring new employees – no one wants to go to work in the studio after allegations of harassment, processing and toxicity.
