From the lasting impression the Mandalorian left, it’s hard to imagine that the series will go on without her. But like Sackhoff in an interview with ComicBook.com betrayed, she does not yet know whether and how the figure will return:
“No I have no idea. The only thing I know is that it’s one of the best and worst things that [Dave] Filoni (author of “The Mandalorian”, editor’s note) did was give me his phone number. Because one of the things I like to do with him is that we talk about Bo in general. I would like to know how it ended up where it is now […] And I love to talk to him about the missing parts, where she is now … So, I know all of the stuff, but I have no idea what happened. “

Katee Sackhoff could imagine a spin-off to Bo-Katan
Bo-Katan was already known to some “Star Wars” fans from the animated series “Star Wars: The Clone Wars”. In the English original of the series, Bo-Katan was even spoken by Sackhoff. The jump to the live action screens was what many fans wanted. For Sackhoff, too, her role as Bo-Katan in “The Mandalorian” was a dream come true.
In the course of the conversation, the actress admits that she could imagine playing in her own spin-off project. At the same time, she is very happy with the way her character fits into the universe and “it would be selfish of me to want more.” There are already some characters that will have their own solo series, including Boba Fett (“The Book of Boba Fett “) and Ahsoka Tano. In this respect, a Bo Katan spin-off would not be entirely out of thin air.
The potential for further appearances of Bo-Katan in “The Mandalorian” is definitely there. After all, Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) is in possession of the legendary dark sword that once belonged to her. At the end of the second season, she explains that she does not want to fight Din, but at the same time she refuses to accept the sword from him. Another confrontation seems inevitable. Even if Katee Sackhoff doesn’t know how her character will go on, showrunners Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have a plan for the Mandalorian.
