Star Citizen recently hit a new record with total grosses of over $600 million. This amount was collected thanks to 4,761,321 space protracted fans. Thus, the game continues to hold the title of the most successful crowdfunding project in history.
It’s worth noting that Star Citizen is now almost twice the budget of Cyberpunk 2077, which was $357 million. And significantly broke away from The Last of Us Part 2, the budget of which was $ 249 million.
Despite huge investments, Star Citizen continues to cause doubt and skepticism among many. Especially given the many transfers, delays and changes.
