The singer was spotted in good company on the show’s red carpet ECHO from Cirque du Soleil and he recounts their love at first sight.

Reached by Billie after being seen on the arm of a young woman at the Cirque du Soleil premiere, Olivier Bergeron of Star Academy 2022 revealed to be in love! He told us a little more in detail about Meggie Michaud, his lover.
They met at an Olivier show in Grand Falls, New Brunswick, 45 minutes from Olivier’s hometown. It was Meggie who chaired the event and it was she who introduced Olivier to the public. “When I saw her I went wow, phew, she’s 100% my type, but she already had a boyfriend so I just didn’t do anything. I moved to Quebec, I sort of forgot about that for about 5-6 months.” But Olivier obviously had it in the back of his mind.
“After that I saw on social networks that she had removed all the photos with her boyfriend, so I texted him right away. We took our time, we made an appointment, we met. It clicked right away, we had a big crush I think. It was me who said ‘I love you’ first, it just came out.”
Meggie is studying to be a nurse. Jokesman, Olivier adds that she speaks English and has difficulty understanding his French expressions.
In the near future, we could hear Olivier with a new song that may hook many. The singer also told us that he had a darker period this winter, but that he surrounds himself with the right people and that he is on the right track. We can’t wait to hear more in an EP worthy of Olivier’s standards.
