BBC: Stansted cancels all departures due to snow and fog
All flights on Monday were canceled at London Stansted Airport. The runway is closed due to snow, ice and fog, reports the BBC.
London’s other airports were also heavily affected by the storm.
More than 50 departures were canceled at Heathrow on Sunday, while one of the runways at Gatwick was temporarily closed, affecting several departures, it writes BBC.
The weather conditions also caused problems for several trains to and from the airports.
