STANDING Group A men’s football SEA Games 2021 until the second matchday, Okezone will be discussed. As is known, Group A contains the U-23 Indonesian National Team, Vietnam, the Philippines, Myanmar and Timor Leste.
Three of the five teams in Group A have already played two matches. Only the Indonesian U-23 and Myanmar national teams have only played once.
Garuda Muda will play their second match against Timor Leste. The match will take place at Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho, Vietnam, Tuesday 10 May 2022, at 19.00 WIB.
Prior to the match, Myanmar will perform first at the Viet Tri Stadium, Tuesday 10 May 2022, at 16.00 WIB. Myanmar will face the Philippines in their second match in Group A.
With current conditions, the Philippines sit comfortably at the top of Group A with a collection of four points. The Philippines were trailed by hosts Vietnam who collected four points too, but lost on goal difference. For your information, the Philippines has just held a draw with Vietnam 0-0.
Under the two teams, there is Myanmar with a collection of three points. It was the result of Myanmar’s 3-2 victory over Timor Leste.
Furthermore, the fourth position is occupied by the U-23 Indonesian National Team. Despite losing 0-3 to Vietnam in the first match, the Indonesian national team did not occupy the caretaker position.
The caretaker position belongs to Timor Leste, which has a worse goal difference. This is because Timor Leste has lost twice to the Philippines (0-4) and Myanmar (2-3).
