Standings Asian Games 2023 on Wednesday (4/10) evening there was a change after Indonesia won six additional medals throughout the day.
The six medals won by the Red and White team came from the sports sepak takraw, rock climbing, archery and soft tennis.
Sepak takraw won two silver medals in the men’s quadrant and women’s quadrant numbers. Meanwhile rock climbing contributed two silver medals from the men’s relay and women’s relay numbers.
The men’s relay team was represented by Kiromal Katibin, Rahmad Adi Mulyono, and Veddriq Leonardo. Meanwhile, the Puri relay squad consists of Nurul Iqomah, Rajiah Sallsabillah, and Desak Made Rita Kusuma Dewi.
One bronze medal was presented by the Indonesian mixed recurve archery team consisting of Diananda Choirunissa and Riau Ega Agata Salsabilla.
Meanwhile, another bronze medal came from the men’s soft tennis team represented by the pair Mario Harley Alibasa/Sunu Wahyu Trijati.
The additional four medals kept Indonesia stuck in 12th place in the 2023 Asian Games medal standings as of Wednesday night or 21.05 WIB.
The Indonesian contingent has collected a total of 30 medals with details of six gold, eight silver and 16 bronze.
Meanwhile, the top of the standings is still controlled by host China, who has 171 gold, 94 silver and 51 bronze. China is far behind Japan (37 gold) and South Korea (33 gold) which are in second and third place.
