Ammonium Sulfate is a low concentration nitrogen source. It is a relevant component in the production of balanced fertilization formulas. It is widely applied to the soil directly, however its application is recommended in alkaline pH soils or soils of calcareous origin.
In addition, ammonium nitrate is an excellent source of fertilization in crops that extract large amounts of Sulfur from the soil, such as forage crops (pasture and alfalfa), vegetables (cruciferous, onion and garlic), cereals (wheat and barley) and grasses (corn, sorghum and sugar cane, rice), among others.
