The large-scale gaming exhibition Tokyo Game Show 2023 began in Japan today, where the main new products of the Asian market will be presented. Suddenly, it is from there that fresh news about the long-awaited sequel to STALKER may appear. The shooter developers from the GSC Game World studio have not announced their participation in the event, but their game will be presented by SEGA.
The participation of STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl at TGS 2023 is evidenced by the official SEGA website, where the company’s full schedule for the exhibition is presented. SEGA is going to show off many of its own new products, as well as some projects from external partners, including STALKER 2.
It is noteworthy that SEGA’s main page lists a demo of the PlayStation 5 version of STALKER 2, although the game has not even been officially announced for this platform. If you look at a more detailed plan of the company on another page, the PC version of the shooter is already indicated there. The PlayStation 5 was probably just a mistake, but they are in no hurry to fix it yet. As part of Tokyo Game Show 2023, a version of the game for PlayStation 5 may be announced, but the game stand itself will show the PC version.
