A concert performance of a creative dance, created with new music, new choreographies and a new artistic solution, in which stage dance and the art of Latvian artists come together. A white thread runs through it, like a path from which to start, form and not get lost, which to take as a basis and in which to be in constant development, a feature of the plot lines of the concert Ertmane.

A diverse collaboration of 18 choreographers with 18 new dances, which reveal seven essences important to a Latvian – childhood, nature, work, land, living, purity and being.
The artistic directors of the dance concept are Dace Advilione, Reinis Rešetins and Taiga Ludborža, director Inga Cipe and video scenographer Ineta Sipunova.
As announced, the XXVII General Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival will take place in Riga from June 20 to July 9. During the song and dance festival, 60 events will take place in 20 venues. 40,000 participants will take part in the celebration, while at least 500,000 interested people could visit the celebration.
The XXVII General Latvian Song and XVII Dance Festival is taking place on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the tradition.
