Elsie, 5, and her sister Amelia (9) were playing with their friends when the game suddenly got damn serious.

Mom Kirsty was watching the children from the windows of the block when suddenly the neighbor’s dog was let loose inside the enclosed area.
The children are said to have run to a wall and climbed to safety, but little Elsie (5) is said to have tripped along the road. Then the dog would attack.

– I remember the feeling of panic, and I saw the dog grab her face. I can’t get that image out of my head, she tells the news agency.

The terrified mother jumped out of her daughter and threw her over her shoulder so that the dog could no longer grab her.
She claims the dog kept jumping on Elsie until they managed to rescue a neighbor.

The police are investigating the matter
Once in the hospital, Elsie was operated on for four hours. She also underwent an operation afterwards and her parents were told that she will need to be followed by a surgeon for the rest of her life.

The police have now seized the dog, as well as another dog that has the same owner. The dogs are now at the police kennel.
A 56-year-old woman was questioned and informed that she has the right to remain silent, but that there could be consequences.
It is not known whether the woman spoke to the press about the affair.
– We are traumatized
No formal arrests were made in the case. A spokesperson for the Greater London Police says the investigation is ongoing.
The municipality plans to move Elsie and her family away from the condominium, but in the meantime they feel haunted by bad memories:
