Staff from 27 schools were trained in disasters, CPR and first aid – News

The Municipality of Salta, through the Undersecretary of Citizen Protection, brings different training related to emergencies to institutions in the city. The goal is for all staff to know how to act in any emergency.

For this reason, the area provides training on CPR, first aid, disasters and, in addition, works with earthquake and fire drills, mainly in schools, so that managers, teachers, general staff and students have the necessary knowledge.

From the beginning of the administration to date, these courses have been taught in 27 educational establishments, which gives a total of almost 9,000 trained people.

It should be noted that the Undersecretariat not only carries out these works in schools, but also in different buildings such as the Municipal Civic Center (CCM) and the Entrepreneurs School; Likewise, in different institutions, whether public or private.

During this year they were carried out in five schools and in the Judiciary, the Alejandro I hotel, health centers, among others.

The Undersecretariat assured that they will continue with these work sessions taking into account that the city of Salta is located in a grade three seismic zone and we must know how to act in the event of a tectonic movement. In addition to CPR and first aid training.
