Stade-Toulousain has officially launched its 2023/2024 season.
After their inaugural defeat conceded on the lawn of Aviron Bayonnais last Friday on the occasion of the first day of the Top 14, the Toulouse were keen to win their first match of the season.
And this Sunday evening, Ugo Mola’s men crushed Montpellier with a score of 38 to 13.
The locals scored six tries via Lebel (7′); Cramont (14′), Guitoune (19′ and 32′), Ntamack (50′) and Barassi (77′) against a single try on the Montpellier side signed Van Rensburg (47′).
Richard Cockerill’s men were unable to endanger Toulouse during this match and left Ernest-Wallon with their suitcases full.
Toulouse wins a nice improved victory and launches its season.
