Stade Rennais-Reims: Julien Stéphan discusses the work on offensive set pieces

This has not been common since the start of the season and it is a change that we can possibly put to the credit of Julien Stéphan and his staff. Against Reims, Stade Rennais scored twice following set pieces, a corner and an off-center free kick, each time taken by Benjamin Bourigeaud.

After the meeting, Stéphan especially wanted to pay tribute to his staff and his players: “It’s a great analysis from Rudy Cuni who takes care of the attacking set pieces and who had targeted exactly what happened. Great job from the staff and players on a video presentation which was very clear and very precise. Preparing it is one thing, then you have to put it into practice. There were hitters, guys who got into the zones and who showed healthy aggression. Well done to the players and well done to the staff, because the options had been given effectively. »
