Stade de Reims Officially Announces Departure of Josh Wilson-Esbrand and Other Major Football Transfers

Stade de Reims has just formalized the arrival of Benjamin Stambouli, but also the departure of Josh Wilson-Esbrand, back to Manchester City. Originally loaned by the English club for the entire season, the English left-back is returning earlier than expected. The Champagne club announced on its social networks the departure of the 21-year-old player who will have played thirteen matches under the Reims colors for a goal and an assist.

FC Lorient also saw a player leave, in the person of Dembo Sylla. The 21-year-old Guinean international (7 caps), who was not selected for the CAN, will try to find playing time again under the colors of Rodez, eleventh in Ligue 2. In fact, the right piston has not played only one Ligue 1 match this season. This transfer shows the good understanding between the RAF and the Merlus who often tend to exchange players in recent seasons (Ponceau, Mouyokolo, Soumano…).

FC Nantes also loaned a player. Indeed, Lamine Diack, aged 23, will join Major League Soccer (USA) and more precisely the Colorado Rapids club until July 31, 2024. The midfielder has only played one match this season with Canaries.
