After the strong post-weekend rise, the number of hospitalized patients fell very slightly on Tuesday, February 16, with 832 hospitalized Covid + patients (-5) including 151 (-2) in intensive care. Over the past 24 hours, 62 new patients have been admitted to hospital, including 13 in intensive care. After 7 new deaths, the number of patients who have died in hospital has risen to 2,308 since 1is March. Since that date, 10,725 patients have returned home (+59 in the last 24 hours).
At the Hospices Civils de Lyon, the situation has changed little over the past week with 335 patients (+2) hospitalized on February 9 at noon including 181 (-2) in medicine, 75 (+2) in intensive care and 79 (+ 2) in follow-up care and rehabilitation. The occupancy rate by Covid + patients is thus up slightly 44.9% on Tuesday versus 43.5% a week ago, the number of open intensive care beds remains unchanged: 180 (versus 139 on the initial basis). Pre-hospital indicators are down slightly with 9.61% of adult emergency room visits for Covid-19 in week 6 (vs 10.94% in W5) and 8.2% of calls to the SAMU (vs 8.8 % in S5).
