Someone was injured in a stabbing on the train to Meppel this evening, the police reported. Two suspects have been arrested.
The incident happened between Zwolle and Meppel, on the route from The Hague to Groningen. The police received a report around 8:20 PM about a conflict on the train, in which someone was allegedly stabbed with a knife.
The victim received first aid at the station in Meppel. He was then taken to hospital. The police arrested two suspects on the train.
The train will remain stationary in Meppel for the time being for investigation. The other passengers had to leave the train, writes RTV Drenthe.
