The police received the message via emergency medical phone at 18.57 on Sunday night. Then they moved out armed.
– When we arrived, we quickly got an observation of the perpetrator. Then we got the person arrested. This is what the operations manager at the police, Bjørnar Gaasvik, tells NRK.
The first reports were that there were four people in the fight, but the police state that it appears that only two people were involved.
Gaasvik confirms that it is a question of using a knife. He can not say anything about those involved are acquaintances of the police.
The man in his 20s received stab wounds in the shoulder and was transported to hospital by ambulance, while the man in his 40s received health care at the scene of head injuries before he was taken into custody.
– There seems to be a relationship between the two. We are working further to clarify what was the reason, and it is a bit unclear who should have the status of offended, says operations manager Bjørnar Gaasvik in the Trøndelag police to NTB.
The incident happened outdoors at Sverresborg. At around 9 pm, the police were packing up at the scene.
