A man was injured in a stabbing in Nieuw-West this evening. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The victim was found around 8 p.m. on Slotermeerlaan near Plein ’40 ’45. According to bystanders, the stabbing itself took place just down the street. The victim then allegedly fled on foot to Slotermeerlaan.
The police started an investigation. A police spokesperson said that no suspect has yet been arrested.
Tram 7 is detouring due to the emergency services present.
