They refer to the incident as an assassination attempt. Victims are seriously injured, but out of danger, according to police.

– One person was arrested and several people were brought in in connection with the attempted murder at Kuben upper secondary yesterday. All are young boys aged 15-17 years. Everyone graduated last night, the police write.

The case is being investigated extensively, and the police are asking for tips.

It was during the big break at school on Monday that a mass fight broke out which ended with a teenager being stabbed. The teenager is affiliated with Kuben upper secondary school.

The police moved out with large forces to the school at Økern in Oslo after they received the message at 12.10 on Monday.

A witness VG has spoken to told on Monday that she saw the fight through a window from the school.

– There were several against one, says the witness to VG.

Rector Hauge told VG on Monday that after the incident they have tried to return to normal school day.

– Now we will try to be as calm as possible, we know that this is not easy for the students. Some students have been a little too close and seen the incident and the commotion. Because there was a lot of fuss, said the principal.

He further stated that it is now important for the school to be close to those who have witnessed the incident, and open up so that they can get someone to talk to as soon as possible.

– This happened in connection with the long break, and there were many students who were out. What they have seen and not seen, I do not know.
