St. Vincent, Erykah Badu and Phoebe Bridgers to Headline Pitchfork Music Festival – EzAnime.net

The Pitchfork Music Festival will return to Chicago this fall, with a female-driven lineup of headliners including St. Vincent, Erykah Baduand Phoebe Bridgers.

The festival will take place September 10-12 at Union Park in Chicago. Bridgers will headline the festival’s first day, September 10, with additional performances from Big Thief, Animal Collective, Yaeji, Black Midi, Kelly Lee Owens, Hop Along, and Dogleg. Indie Aughts mainstay Fiery Furnaces is also slated to host its first show in a decade.

Then St. Vincent will headline the second day on September 11, along with Angel Olsen, Kim Gordon, Ty Segall and the Freedom Band, Waxahatchee, Jay Electronica, Jamila Woods, Georgia Anne Muldrow, Bartees Strange and Faye Webster.

This will be the first time that the public will be able to test Vincent’s new album live, Dad’s house – fell last Friday – out of his recent performance on SNL.

Erykah Badu will close the festival on September 12, along with Flying Lotus, Thundercat, Danny Brown, Cat Power, Caroline Polachek, Yves Tumor, the weather station, Andy Shauf and more.

Tickets are on sale now, with three-day passes for $ 195, while one-day passes cost $ 90. If the festival is rescheduled or postponed due to Covid-19, ticket buyers will be able to keep their passes or request a refund.

The pandemic prevented the festival’s 15th anniversary edition and other large-scale events in Chicago from taking place in person last year. The organizers of the Pitchfork Music Festival have announced that they will closely follow Chicago’s Covid-19 protocol and keep attendees updated as federal, state and local regulations change.

To enter this year, festival goers age 12 and older will need to show proof of a COVID-19 vaccine or negative PCR test within the last 24 hours for each day they attend.
