On Sunday afternoon on the B33 in the direction of Konstanz (D), two men living in Switzerland organized an illegal street race. It was a black and a blue BMW M4 – both with a St. Gallen license plate, as Uwe Vincon from the Constance Police Headquarters said at the request of BLICK.
–
The drivers are two young men, one 24, the other 27 years old. Both with Macedonian citizenship, as Vincon reports.

Traffic slowed down, then accelerated massively
The race was noticed when at around twelve o’clock a road user reported to the police that he had been overtaken by two vehicles driving in the direction of Constance in the area of the Steisslingen junction, like the «Schaffhauser News” write.
–
The drivers would have slowed down the following traffic in both lanes and then massively accelerated their cars again. In the area of the Radolfzell junction, the two drivers repeated this procedure.
–
«No police car comes along»
The traffic hooligans were stopped and checked by the police at the entrance to Constance. The two cars and driver’s licenses were confiscated by order of the Constance Prosecutor.
–
The exact speed could not be determined because no one came after. “The cars involved each have more than 400 hp and reach a top speed of 250 kilometers per hour. No police car comes along, »says Uwe Vincon. A section of the B33 is unlimited in terms of speed, but the rest is limited to 100 or 120 kilometers per hour.

It is not yet possible to say exactly how the sentence will be. “In the event of an illegal race, the German Penal Code provides for a prison sentence of up to two years or a fine,” says Vincon. (D zc)
