ELAS is trying to justify the unjustified actions of the police officers at the Agioi Anargyro Police Station which resulted in the femicide of the 28-year-old Kyriaki.
On this wavelength, the press representative of the Hellenic Police, Constantia Dimoglidou, regarding the questions that have arisen about how a man who in a few days was going to be expelled from the body as he is involved in the first attempt to Greekize with false information of of the Agiavefe family through AT, about which Documento has published extensive reports, to be in a position of responsibility, the press representative of ELAS, stated that “This man’s criminal and disciplinary past has nothing to do with the incident. Whether at the time he was on duty he did what he had to do to save a person is completely different.”
In fact, for the man who is controlled by ELAS, yet his staff considered that he can do his duty even though he had to show up at a police station, he said that “to be there the law gives him the right”, while he insisted on the letter of the law, and added that “we are obliged to follow the law, we cannot arbitrarily remove a person from the body when the law does not give us the right.”
The vocabulary with which Mrs. Dimoglidou chose to position herself is indeed characteristic, who emphasized, among other things, that “we accept that mistakes were indeed made, that’s why people moved away.”
At the same time, he described the femicide of the 28-year-old woman outside the highway as an “isolated incident” and stated that “The police and their safety should not be shaken in the eyes of the citizens.”
