The district football league team SSV Kasendorf recently failed to get past a goalless draw against third-from-bottom Selbitz. That should change on Sunday (3 p.m.) at SV Bavaria Waischenfeld (8th).

SV Bavaria Waischenfeld – SSV Kasendorf
Kasendorf is still aiming for third place in the final rankings. But Waischenfeld currently occupies a good middle position with 36 points. SSV assistant coach Tobias Geldner knows Bavaria’s strengths: “The Waischenfelder are unusually offensive this year, because their strengths usually lie in defense. Even though they are currently conceding more goals than they score, they are still very solid in defense. We expect a tough fight.”
Even though many SSV players are leaving the club after the season, the atmosphere is very, very good, emphasizes Geldner. “Since everyone knows that we won’t be playing together for much longer, everyone is looking forward to the last few weeks together. The highlight of the season is still ahead of us on May 1st with the cup final against SC Reichmannsdorf,” says the assistant coach.
