Guanajuato. Guanajuato. March 3, 2023- The Gto Health System reports the application of more than one million 800 thousand doses against influenza, 6 thousand still available in state medical units.
Dr. Daniel Alberto Díaz Martínez, Secretary of Health, explained that one million 72 thousand doses have been applied by the institution he presides over, another 77 thousand doses from ISSSTE and 683 thousand 491 doses from IMSS.
Díaz explained that the application campaign began in October of last year, so that the population is protected and has the vaccine.
He urged to continue taking care of yourself since we must not let our guard down of any symptom and continue using face masks to protect ourselves.
To strengthen promotion and prevention actions in medical units, he urged the population to come to his unit, in the presence of the following warning signs:
– Fever
– He shakes a lot when breathing.
– The skin between the ribs sinks when the air enters.
– Breathe faster than normal.
– The child is depressed or sad, has purple lips and nails.
– Does not accept food or liquids.
– In turn, the following general measures are recommended to the entire population:
– Frequent hand washing.
– Respiratory etiquette when coughing and sneezing.
– Avoid handshakes and/or kisses.
– Stay at home and do not go to crowded places if you have respiratory symptoms.
– Keep common spaces ventilated.
– Avoid self-medication.
