SSD enables more anticovid vaccination modules –

As of this Monday, January 2, vaccination modules for the application of the Abdala anti-covid vaccine have been enabled in 10 municipalities, reported the head of the Department of Communicable Diseases of the State Health Services (SSD) Silvano Ramírez, who stressed that With the opening of the modules, all inhabited centers are covered, thus fulfilling the commitment to bring assistance and health services to all parts of the state.

He explained that the municipalities in which the new modules have been opened are: Canatlán in the Integral Hospital, Nuevo Ideal in the Integral Hospital, Santiago Papasquiaro in the Tomás Bermúdez Health Center, Tepehuanes in the CESSA, El Oro in the Health Center, Las Nieves in l ‘Integral Hospital, San Juan del Río at Integral Hospital, Rodeo at IMSS Regional Hospital 162, Guadalupe Victoria at IMSS Regional Hospital and Vicente Guerrero at IMSS Regional Hospital.

It should be noted that the objective is to mainly cover people who are at higher risk due to the complications they may present, these being patients with chronic degenerative diseases such as diabetes, hypertension, cancer, among others; In addition, vulnerable groups such as the elderly and pregnant women are taken into account.

Finally, and regarding the flu vaccine, Silvano Ramírez explained that, unlike the Abdala vaccine, it can be applied in any health center in the state, since they have sufficient doses, so citizens can go to these centers and hospitals to request that is applied without any problem.
