A 30-year-old policewoman from the police station in Swarzędz was wanted from Tuesday morning after she did not show up for work. After a few hours, the officers found the body of the woman together with the body of her 9-year-old son in the forest near Środa Wielkopolska.

– She’s been in the police force for six years. She was an outstanding officer. She had a very good opinion among her colleagues and superiors – said Andrzej Borowiak, spokesman of the Greater Poland police about the deceased woman.

In an interview with “Gazeta Wyborcza”, Borowiak emphasized that the death of the officer “may be related to her personal problems”.
