On the stage of the fair, both of them served the song as a birthday gift to the famous singer.

Srinath, a remarkable singer of the new generation, came before the audience with the ghazals of Mehdi Hasan, Ghulam Ali and Hariharan. Kanchana and Shatabhishekah evening with words arranged by his grandfather, musician Cherthala Gopalan Nair, made the evening musical. The musical program at the fair was notable for its selection and presentation of songs. Accompanied by Samil Sikani on tabla, Shyam Kalyan on violin, Muhammad Hussain on guitar and Sanjay Arakkal on keyboard. The two-hour-long concert received a great response from the audience. Mela committee member Mridul George introduced the artists to the audience. President Surjit Esthos, Treasurer V.A. Kunju Maitheen and others have sent gold. Secretary S. Mohandas, Vice President P. M. Elias, Joint Secretary K. B. Vijayakumar, Committee members Adv.K.H. Ibrahim Karim and Ranjit P. Kallur, B. Ashok Kumar, Prejit O. Kumar and others participated.
