Sreesanth sought anticipatory bail in the case of extorting Rs 19 lakh by promising to build a villa Madhyamam

Kochi: Cricketer S. sought anticipatory bail in fraud case. Sreesanth in the High Court. Anticipatory bail has been sought in a case registered by the Kannur Town Police on the complaint that he was duped by buying a villa in Karnataka’s Kollur by buying Rs 19 lakh.

Justice C.P. considered the petition. The arrest of Mohammad Niaz Sreesanth was temporarily prohibited. The position of the government was also sought.

The police registered the case following the order of Kannur Magistrate Court on the complaint filed by Sarig Balagopal, a native of Kannur. The complaint is that Sreesanth extorted money in 2019 by making the complainant believe that he would make him a partner in the sports academy he was building. However, it is said in the petition that he was unnecessarily made an accused in the case and that there is a conspiracy behind it.
