Faced with the imminent arrival of the hurricane Milton In Florida, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE) called on Mexicans living in that state of the neighboring nation to remain attentive to the prevention and care reports issued by local authorities.
The agency reported that the Consulate General of Mexico in Miami and the Consulate of Mexico in Orlando activated the emergency protocol for natural disasters since last October 5 due to the possibility of the meteor passing.
“The consulates have intensified their preventive protection actions aimed at the Mexican population residing in the center and northeast of that state, issuing alerts, disseminating recommendations on actions to be carried out to safeguard their physical integrity and that of their families, considering the indications and instructions from the emergency management authorities,” the foreign ministry said on social networks.
