Squint Words Triggering Neighbor Conflicts to Lead To Murder, Police Call There Are Other Motives Page all

SOUTH TAPANULI, KOMPAS.com – LHP (30), a housewife died after being mistreated by her own neighbor.

The victim died on the spot as a result of being hit using a piece of wood by the perpetrators in Environment V, Janji Matogu Hamlet, Pardomuan Village, Angkola Selatan District, South Tapanuli, Friday (24/7/2020).

“The perpetrators are still under investigation. For the initial motive for fighting because the victim did not accept her son in a squint,” said Head of the Public Relations Sub Division of South Tapanuli Regional Police, IPD Asdul Pane through his short message, Sunday (07/26/2020).

Asdul said, the victim of a woman with the initials LHP (30) and the perpetrator of a man whose initials RSS (40) lives next door and lives next door.

In addition to the victim’s daughter being said to be squinted by the perpetrator, the strong motive of the incident was also allegedly because of a land boundary dispute.

“There is also a motive for a land dispute, victims and perpetrators have not gotten along because of the boundaries of the land in front of their adjoining houses,” Asdul said.

Neighboring squabbles

Previously, South Tapanuli Resort Police Chief AKBP Roman Smaradhana Elhaj through the Head of Public Relations Subdivision Ipda Asdul Pane said, the tragic incident began when L (12), the victim’s daughter complained to her mother. At that time, L passed near the house of the perpetrators who were adjacent to their homes. L was said to be cross-eyed by the perpetrator when he saw the victim’s child.

“His son complained to the victim because he said squint by the perpetrator. And then the victim came to the perpetrator,” said Ipda Asdul Pane via text message on Sunday (07/26/2020).

Asdul said, after hearing the complaints of his son, the victims and perpetrators quarreled in front of their homes.

The perpetrator who has been ignited emotion goes into his house and tries to find something. But blocked by his wife, and tried to calm so as to end the fight.

“The perpetrators also had pushed his wife to the ground, for trying to obstruct the perpetrators. Then the perpetrators returned out of the house and met the victim,” said Asdul.

When leaving the house, the perpetrators took a piece of wood and immediately hit it on the back of the victim’s head.

The victim fell, but the perpetrator continued to beat the victim. Until finally the victim died and then died on the spot.

“The victim died on the spot as a result of being hit using wood in the head,” said Asdul.

After that incident, the perpetrator escaped. Police personnel who get information go down to the location and do the crime scene.

“The perpetrators are still under investigation. We have coordinated with his wife, so they come to surrender themselves,” said Asdul.
